Day 1:
Arrival into Seattle. After picking the group up at the airport we will quickly check into our Seattle hotel and head into the downtown. Our first stop will be the famous Pike Place Market filled with sights, sounds, and smells. We will stroll along the beautiful waterfront piers. We will then visit the Space Needle for a few great view of the city. After a delicious dinner we will have time to visit other downtown sights.
Day 2:
We will say goodbye to the big city and head for Port Angeles and the Olympic National Forest. After checking into our hotel and having lunch in the small town we get ready for a small hike in this amazing forest. The sheer size of the trees will be sure to take your breath away. The hike we take on this day will offer the opportunity to experience natural warm springs. We will then take in more of this rain forest with it's many splendors. We will enjoy a delicious dinner back in Port Angeles that evening.
Day 3:
Get your passports ready because we're leaving the country for Canada. We will board the ferry in Port Angeles and head to Victoria Canada. We may have a chance to see whales and dolphins while aboard the ferry. Pulling into the port in Victoria is like walking back in time with the charm and beauty of this city. We will visit the port, Christ Church, Castle Craigdarroch, and much much more. After another great dinner we will board the ferry back to Port Angeles for the night.
Day 4:
We will leave Washington and head to Oregon. After checking into our hotel in Portland we will head out into the city. Portland is such a unique city and it will be sure to quickly win you over. We will visit Pioneer Courthouse Square, the food carts, rose gardens, waterfront, Pittock Mansion, and so much more. This day will be filled with things to see and do.
Day 5:
We head to the world renowned Columbia River Gorge. Our first stop is Multnomah Falls, one of the largest in United States. We will then explore the many waterfalls throughout the gorge along with the lush green canyon and gorges. With a stop in Cascade Locks we will be able to get an up close look at this mighty river. Our final stop in the gorge will be the fish hatchery to view some of the largest sturgeon you will ever see. We will have our dinner in downtown Portland that night.
Day 6:
Today we leave the city for the Oregon coast. We will first stop in the coastal town of Tillamook for some of the world famous cheese and ice cream made there at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We will then check into our hotel and head to Oceanside beach. This city nestled along the coastline and high cliff walls is truly amazing. We have some fun on the beach and explore the surrounding coastline. Dinner will of course offer fresh seafood and much more. If the weather cooperates we will have a bonfire on the beach and roast some marshmallows.
Day 7:
Today you will experience something that will easily become a cherished life memory. Today we will go crabbing on the Netarts Bay. 3 hours out on the bay should bring us a nice catch of Dungeness crab. After our adventure on the bay we will cook our crabs right there at the marina so we can eat them right away. We will then take in the surrounding area including a visit to a light house and Rockaway beach. Dinner will once again be there on the coast. The evening can be spent enjoying the beach for a final night.
Day 8:
Today we leave the Coast and head inland. Our drive will take us through the beautiful Willamette Valley. With it many vineyards and farms offering view of Mount Hood this valley is truly remarkable to view. We will have a chance to stop at a few famous farms to taste some of the local fair. Our final evening will be back in Portland. After our dinner we will stroll along the Portland waterfront and enjoy the city views.
Day 9:
Today we will say our goodbyes and reflect on our amazing tour we just experienced. We will take the group back to the airport this day to catch your flights home.
