This train ride will take us through valleys, tunnels, and steep gorges as we travel to the Swiss Italian border to the village of Zermatt. Here we will board the Gornergrat cogwheel train and climb up to 10k feet to the Gornergrat viewing deck. The views of the Matterhorn from this vantage point are far better than any found in Disneyland. We will eat lunch up top and enjoy the views.

For those who are not up for hike we will meet you at the lower train station where you could sit and enjoy the views until we arrive. For those who have decided to stay a few extra days your Swiss Rail pass included in the tour has one final day on it. I wanted to include this so that you could take a day at the end of the tour and venture off to where ever you might want to go. If your plans are to stay an extra day or two please let me know and I will extend your reservations at the Zurich hotel at cost.
